Transportation...to a medical appointment, to pick up groceries or commodities, and/or other necessary trips.  Transportation services are provided by volunteer drivers through this Allegan County Council on Aging program run by CSC Director Susan Katt.

Vet to Vet Meeting
For those that need a little help, and those that can give a little help...the 2nd Thursday of every month.  Facilitated by second Lieutenant Rebecca Berndt-Downen, MS, LLPC.

Vet to Vet meetings are held in the Human Services Building at the Dumont Lake Complex north of the City of Allegan from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.   For information, call Rebecca at 616-285-5795.

The Casco Senior Care Program is funded by a .25 millage renewed in November 2009 for an additional five years.

Programs:

Casco Seniors Exercise Classes, Monday & Thursday, 10 a.m.
These classes, attended by men and women, are for balance and strength.  Led by professional trainer Susan Katt, the rigor of the class is nicely balanced by the fellowship over coffee when exercise concludes (10:45 a.m.).  Currently held at the Casco United Methodist Church at the corner of 109th Avenue and 66th Street.

Adult Lap Swim
Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, 12 noon to 1 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 5:30 to 7:00 a.m.
location:  South Haven High School

Adult Water Aerobics with Annette
Tuesday & Thursday, 12 noon to 1 p.m.
$3 per visit or $40/7 week session

Caregiver Training
When family members take on the care of an aging relative, they soon find that the job is much more than it seems.  Learn basic, practical skills and strategies you need to care for your loved one (open to adults of any age).
